Cuyahoga Community College, Western Campus Theatre, will be holding
auditions this week-end for its Holiday production of Amahl and the Night
Visitors  2001 is the 50th Annniversary of this wonderful musical classic ,
and CCC-West is well-known for this particular work. The casting is open,
with roles of:

Mother  - (Soprano, also fight scene, some agility necessary) 
Amahl  - (Boy Soprano, able to play crippled, and then convincingly healed)
King Caspar -  (Tenor, comic role, hard-of-hearing and slightly senile)
King Melchior - (Baritone, and regal)
King Balthazar -  (Operatic Bass, perpetual twinkle in his eye)
The Page - (High Baritone/Tenor, fight scene)
Singing and dancing chorus of "shepherds" - (All voice types needed, adults
AND children)

Auditions are:  	Sunday, Sept. 23rd, 2:00-5:00 pm and Monday, Sept.
24th, 7:00-9:30 pm.
		All auditions are in the Western Campus Theatre,  11000
Pleasant Valley Road, Parma, Ohio
		Please bring a prepared song or aria, and dress for
movement.
		Accompanist provided
		All auditionees should try to come at the beginning of the
audition sessions if possible.

Performances include Dec. 8, evening, and Dec. 9, afternoon, as well as some
daytime performances for school children on the mornings of Dec. 10, 11 and
12, and Dec. 17 and 18.
