Join Cleveland Contemporary Dance Theatre tomorrow September 26, 2001 at the
Ohio Theater in Playhouse Sqaure, downtown Cleveland, for Tri-C's highly
popular lunchtime series "Showtime at High Noon." Artistic Director Michael
Medcalf and company takes you inside "Lovejoy Lane", his 1999 multi-layered
work that celebrates the collected memories of his late grandmother and
unveils the motivations and choreographic tools he used to create this
memorable ballet. The company will also be performing excerpts from
Medcalf's "Love Suite Love", his 2001 work set to the music of Motown great
Marvin Gaye. This is a 50-minute free event that takes place at noon.

Congratulations to DanceCleveland for winning the Northern Ohio Live Magazine
2001 "Award of Acheivement" for its 2000-2001 season! Finalist for this
award included Michael Medcalf and David Shimotakahara for the duet "Know"
and Lynn Deering and Chris DiCello for "Moving History" by David Dorfman.
