An open casting call will be held on Saturday, October 6, for the film 
AMERICAN SPLENDOR.  It will be held from 10:00am to 5:00pm at 1262 East 49th 
Street (at Lakeside), 5th floor, Cleveland, Ohio, 44114.  Parking is 
available on the street and in the lot on Lakeside and East 47th Street.  We 
are seeking men and women, 20's and up, for a variety of speaking parts and 
extras.  Please bring a recent snapshot or headshot with you that we can 
keep, and something to write with.

AMERICAN SPLENDOR is based on the life and comics of Cleveland's Harvey 
Pekar.  Harvey's acclaimed comics tell the story of his everyday life in all 
its mundane yet fascinating details.  It is being produced by GOOD MACHINE, 
producers of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", "The Ice Storm", etc.  The 
directors are Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini, who prior to this 
have directed documentaries including "Off the Menu: Last Days at Chasen's".
