Porthouse Theatre announces auditions for the 2002 season. Productions this 
summer include ONCE ON THIS ISLAND directed by Victoria Bussert, ONE FLEW OVER 
THE CUCKOO'S NEST directed by Sue Ott Rowlands and BRIGADOON directed by 
Artistic Director Terri Kent.

Cleveland area auditions will be held February 17 & 18 at the Cleveland 
Playhouse in Rehearsal Hall C. Open auditions will be Sunday, February 17 from 
7 PM - 11 PM and February 18 from 7PM - 11 PM. Equity auditions will be held 
February 18 from 5 PM - 7 PM.  The Cleveland Playhouse is located at 8500 
Euclid Avenue in Cleveland.

Kent area auditions will be held February 25 & 26 in the Music & Speech Center 
of the Kent State University Main Campus. Auditions are from 6 PM - 11 PM on 
both days in Stump Theatre of the Music & Speech Center. The Music & Speech 
Center is located on the corner of Main & Horning in Kent.

Callbacks will be held March 3 & 4 at Kent State University in the Music & 
Speech Center.  Callback times will be announced at a later date.

Those auditioning for ONCE ON THIS ISLAND or BRIGADOON should prepare 2 
selections of 16 bars, one ballad and one up tempo song. Those auditioning for 
ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST should prepare one contemporary monologue . If 
you would like to audition for all productions please prepare 2 selections of 
16 bars and one contemporary monologue not to exceed 4 minutes combined.  An 
accompanist will be provided.  Please bring sheet music in your key.  
Acappella singing will not be permitted.
