The Westside Playhouse, Cleveland's newest theatre is now finished and ready 
to bring Cleveland some great shows. Located at 6602 Detroit Ave, between 
W65th & W67th St. next to the gay & lesbian center, WSP offers 120 (movie 
theater style) seats, full light and sound capabilities and great sight 
lines. 

Artistic Director Charles Lago and Producing Director Chris Johnson are the 
founders and run WSP. They most recently brought to Cleveland the gay hit 
comedy 'Party' which had a 4 week sell out run at CPT.

 WSP first production will be the critically acclaimed one man show 
'Straight' written and performed by Seattle Performance Artist, David 
Schmader. 'Straight' has played to rave reviews and sold out houses in Los 
Angeles, Seattle, San Diego and San Francisco and we are very pleased to 
bring this great piece to Cleveland. Directed by acclaimed director Chay Yew 
'Straight' deals with 
" Christian Conversion Therapy" and tells of what happened when David 
Schmader infiltrated such a group while working as an investigative 
journalist for the Seattle Weekly. 'Straight' opens Jan 10 and will run for 3 
weeks. Tickets $15

WSP has a full schedule of events lined up and please stay tuned for full 
season details. WSP is also available for rental to hold auditions,
