The Cleveland Theatre Collective, in conjunction with the Cleveland
Playhouse, is continuing its actors workshop with a new 6 week session which
will begin on January 21st. This 2nd session will again be headed up by
Brian Zoldessy who has been a professional actor, director and acting coach
for over 25 years and will focus on the monologue and the audition process
as well as adding scene study. With the amount of material to be covered
participation will be limited to 16 people to maintain a more practical, on
you feet and working environment. This workshop is dedicated to adhering to
professional standards and actors will be required to commit to time slots
to perform their monologues and scenes. Classes will meet at the Playhouse
every Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30
p.m. for a total of 6 weeks. The class is designed for participants to
attend both Monday and Saturday classes however, we are allowing individuals
to sign up for just Monday or just Saturday if there are scheduling
conflicts. A minimal stipend of $5/class will be required and you must be a
member of the Cleveland Theatre Collective to take advantage of this
workshop. If you are not a member of CTC you can join at the first class. A
$10 discount will be given to those who wish to pay for the entire session
at the 1st class. First consideration will be given to those who
participated in the 1st session back in Nov./Dec. All others will be
considered on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested please
