The play RIFF RAFF by Laurence Fishburne opens in Karamu=92s Arena =
Theatre on  Saturday, February 2, 2002.     A chance meeting changes the =
lives of two half brothers.  One of the pair, 20-20 Mike is  a black =
man, a streetwise career criminal who claims to have eyes in the back of =
his head.  His half brother, Billy is a white strung-out purse snatcher =
who is desperate for a fix. On Halloween night, Mike and his half =
brother, Billy retreat  to an abandoned crack den on the lower East Side =
after having just killed one of the henchmen of the neighborhood=92s =
reigning drug lord.  With no planned means of escape, Mike summons his =
former colleague, Tony =93The Tiger=94  to help them out of this jam.  =
What follows is a continuing three-way confrontation in which guns are =
drawn, allegiances are shifted and secrets are uncovered.  Native =
Clevelander, Hassan Rogers, directs newcomer Jamir Howerton, Terry =
Howard and Charles Cox  in this ADULT ONLY play.
