Prelude2Cinema will be producing a TV Series titled "Out of Darkness." It is=
=20
based on Alex P. Michaels' Emmy winning TV Movie, "What Angels Fear." =20
Auditions for "Out of Darkness" will be held Sunday, March 30th from 1pm to=20
5pm at North Coast Central Casting at 4913 Storer Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 4410=

The TV Series is expected to begin production in late May 2002 and is=20
described as "N.Y.P.D. Blue" meets "The X-Files."  Below is a breakdown of=20
the main characters for the first six episodes.=20

CHARACTERS
TERESA ANGELO
A Hispanic cop who thought she had everything under control in her life unti=
l=20
she becomes the Dark.  She is a true paradox and at times will be completely=
=20
sympathetic to a prisoner, then she will be cold and ruthless the next=20
moment.

DREW AVON
He has been Angie's friend and partner for three years.  He is a black man a
nd sometimes being a cop and being Black seem to be in contradiction to one=20
another.  He feels sympathy for some people and understands how=20
discrimination has shaped their lives. Still, he doesn't believe that excuse=
s=20
them from being involved in a life of crime.

DOCTOR L=DCGNER
An old man who appears to Angie and knows more about the Dark then she does.=
 =20
His origin will be revealed at the End of the first six episodes, but the=20
details of his life will be still murky and Angie is unsure whether to trust=
=20
him or not.

LIEUTENANT FOSTER
Lieutenant Foster appears first in "What Angels Fear."  He is a ruthless cop=
=20
who has not gone as far as he can because of his devotion to duty and his=20
disdain of politics.  His officers seem to be the "trouble-makers" and=20
"rejects."  He relishes the chance to shape these cops into good soldiers in=
=20
the fight against evil.  He is religious, in an "Old Testament" sort of way,=
=20
and won't hesitate to kill if he feels justified.

Other roles will include cops, lawyers and the usual suspects. =20

The TV Series takes place in the same universe as Prelude2Cinema's other=20
movies, so characters from its' movies, "Blood Kiss," "Little Girl" and "I=20
Dare You to Kill Her" may appear in the series.  And since the TV Series is=20
based on "What Angels Fear," characters from that movie will show up in the=20
series.
