Join us for these special events:

Monday, March 18, 2002 at 7:30p.m.: " What's Her Story?"  March is
Women's History Month and the Women's Club of Avon Lake will be
presenting this "Big Book" program which will take a look at the lives
of some famous (AND infamous) women.  Join Bette Lou Higgins as she
shares these stories at the Avon Public Library; 32649 Electric Blvd.;
Avon Lake 44012.  For further information on this program which is free

The Cleveland Metropolitan Library System is inviting the public to read
"To Kill A Mockingbird" by Harper Lee during January and February and
then to head to area libraries to participate in special events relating
to the book.  Eden Valley will be offering a special program to the
libraries for this event.  ATTICUS' DAUGHTER by Mike Reitz is a short
act of reminiscence based on the novel.  Mike will be portraying Atticus
Finch and Katie Knapp will play Scout (Jean Louise Finch) in this play
set fifteen years after the events of the novel as they discuss how
those days affected their lives and their relationship.  Currently
scheduled performances are at the Shore Cultural Center at 291 E 222
St.; Euclid, Ohio on Sunday, March 3 at 2p.m.;  the Mentor Public
Library at 8215 Mentor Ave.; Mentor, Ohio on Monday, March 11, 2002 at
7:30 p.m.  (440-255-8811; www.mentorpl.org) and at the Euclid Public
Library at 631 East 222; Euclid, Ohio 44123 on Wednesday, March 20, 2002

performances are free and open to the public.
