Cesear's Forum continues its production of Eugene Ionesco's THE CHAIRS,
through April 13th, Friday & Saturday's at 8pm, Kennedy's Down Under,
Playhouse Square Center. Tickets $15. Call 216-241-6000 (tickets.com) or
330-405-3045 (Cesear's Forum office). The absurdist play concerns an elderly
couple (Glenn & Jean Colerider) entertaining unseen guests represented by
"the chairs" they set up for them. Plain Dealer Reviewer Carolyn Jack wrote:
"The Coleriders ably convey the Old Man's windy, self involved fatuity and
the Old Woman's ambition and acerbic resentment while gamely reacting to the
host of unseeable guests...heroic performances." (March 11, 2002)
