Hi,  Everyone in Canton / North Canton / Greater Stark County Area:

I'm in need of volunteers to donate time facilitating auditions @ North
Canton Playhouse on Mon, May 6 & Tue, May 7 (2 for each eve) for ' Our
Sentimental Journey,' a nostalgic 40's musical revue & celebration.  I'm
getting  quite a bit of interest & hear lots of people want to audition,
but one never knows till they show (or not). Hoping for lots of choices,
since I've also made many rounds & contacts over the last year. Media
items have now been released, so the word is out.

As far as I know, the waiting area for them is the study hall across from
the office. They would fill out forms, etc. there & be called into Mc
Manaway Studio for their audition so I can hear & see how project in the
actual performance venue of the show.

Your responsibilities would include:

* Greeting them by the office door to lead them to the study hall so they
don't roam.

* Welcome them to the NCP & invite them to sign in.

* Distribute info sheets & audition forms & answer any questions not
answered on hand outs. I also plan to 
  come in before we start to introduce myself, try to put them @ ease &
address concerns.

* Bring them to studio behind main stage curtain, wait for them to
audition & lead them back to study 
  when they finish. Please be aware that Senior Troupe will be rehearsing
their upcoming show on main 
  stage & we must respect that w/ the least to no noise & distraction. 

* Arrive between 5:30-5:45 so I can brief you (& you, me) & be prepared
to stay till we're done.

* Generally keep everyone happy during the process. Each audition may
last about 10 
  min, so some may become impatient, but we'll do the best we can to
honor time. I 
  don't, however, expect you to tolerate rudeness or disrespect.
