KENT STATE UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF THEATRE AND DANCE PRESENTS PULITZER PRIZE 
WINNING STORY

Kent, Ohio =96 Directed by Marya Bednerik, LOOK HOMEWARD ANGEL runs April 19 =96 
28, 2002 at Kent State University=92s School of Theatre and Dance. Based on the 
Pulitzer Prize winning novel by Thomas Wolfe, this play presents a unique look 
into southern life.

Set in 1916 North Carolina, the Gants struggle to keep their family together. 
Dr. Marya Bednerik directs an experienced cast of students in this touching 
drama with some innovative new twists. LOOK HOMEWARD, ANGEL will be presented 
in Wright-Curtis Theatre of the Music & Speech Building on the Main Kent State 
University campus and runs April 19 =96 28th. Performances are Tuesdays through 
Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 2:30 PM.

Tickets range from $7 =96 10, with discounts available for students, seniors and 
KSU Faculty, Staff and Alumni. The box office hours are 12 PM =96 5 PM, Mondays 
=96 Fridays and one hour before performance times. The box office will also be 
open on Saturdays from 2:30 PM =96 6:30 PM during the week of production.
