on the 5th day, God realized that the people were only DANCING and He saw that this was no good! God wanted the people to ACT.  then a blinding light came from above and God spoke to the people: "you are so quiet" and the people did not understand... but God wanted to hear them screaming with joy, creating, making all kinds of noise in living art! then He asked again: "WHY ARE YOU SO QUIET?"

and then, God saw the people go CRAZY!

this notice is intended for all theater/dance performers and worshippers of Dionysus: you must be informed of an IMPORTANT date: 

SATURDAY MAY 11TH, 2K2

This is the date of KSU commencement and a group of theater/dance throwing the biggest party east of the Mississippi! God forbid that we don’t actually graduate (pray for us)   :)  

**THIS EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO EVERYONE ** 

the gathering is entitled “Backwoods Assault: the underground attacks Shalersville” with friends and family all afternoon (noon ta 6pm) for a quaint little BBQ - you're more than welcome if you want to share in the volleyball, horse shoe pits, a couple hind quarters of beef, weenies & burgs, water ballon fights, slip n slides & other mr. roger's stuff  – KIDS ARE WELCOME! 

BUT the real fun begins at dusk… so mark your calendars to join us in celebratory CRAZINESS! are y’all gonna be dere for happy hilljacks and dere turntables?! DJ 5L, will be in from inianapolis, he's a west coastee (san diego) and will be spinning some kikkin' mixes for all you partiers! CHIP THE LOVE DIP hails from panama city beach, party capitol of the world, to break it down also! local spin master BEN SLATER (club wish/groovy) will grace the 12s for two or three sets. anyone else is welcome to hop on the turntables, just please be courteous and bring your own needles and ears :)

after 9pm, there will be 4 kegs, first come first served - if you show up much later, or you don't like beer, we recommend BYOB or pop, or WATER, depending on your desired level of liver abuse! 

there will also be a HUGE bonfire to light the resident fyrespinners/entertainers and lots of room for tents or sleeping bags in the living room if anyone desires/NEEDS to stay overnight - be forewarned, if we see you drinking heavily and they haven't been handed over a priori, we WILL request your keys! that said: we have EVERY INTENTION of watching the sunrise sunday morning! can you keep up?! 

the party will be held @ 8844 RT 44 RAVENNA OHIO 44256 - for those of you proficient with mapquest! the barn is located 10 minutes east of downtown kent; southeast of cleveland;  northeast of columbus; due west of youngstown. the easiest route for those coming from far away lands will be the ohio turnpike, just hop on and head the correct direction until you get to the RT 44 exit. turn right off the exit and you are about 2 minutes (1/2mile) from the house! on the left side of the road, there will be ribbons and other nifty indicators as to which drive way/yard to park in! if nothing else, look for glows and listen for the breakbeats :)
