THE CINEMAKER-SXSW TRAILER FESTIVAL

Do you want your film to be the first thing
audiences see at the SXSW 2003 Film Festival?  

In collaboration with
SXSW, the AUSTIN CINEMAKER CO-OP is calling on
filmmakers to make a Super 8 film trailer. If your film gets selected,
it will open for multiple screenings at SXSW 2003!  

Entries are
due at 5:00pm FRIDAY, JUNE 21. Trailers will be screened for the jury
and the general public at the Cinemaker SXSW Trailer
Festival June 30 at a location TBA.

Rules for the SXSW Trailer Festival:
--All entries must be shot on Super 8
--45 sec trailers, filmmakers are encouraged to submit multiple entries
--No Entry fee
--theme for the trailers must be the 10 year anniversary of the SXSW
film festival
--all trailers must end with a 5 seconds displaying "SXSW film 2003"
--MUST have original sound scores to be eligible, all sound must be
submitted on CD
--Kodachrome, TriX and Plus X ONLY, no Ektachrome accepted
--4 splices maximum allowed; filmmakers must make print of films with
more than 4 splices
--all trailers must include a 5 sec countdown
