Weathervane Playhouse Announces
OPEN CALL Auditions for 
THE CHOSEN

    (Akron, Ohio, June 20, FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE...)  Weathervane Playhouse 
will hold OPEN CALL AUDITIONS for THE CHOSEN, by Aaron Posner & Chaim Potok, 
Monday and Tuesday July 15 & 16 at 7:00 p.m.  Callbacks, if necessary, will 
be held on Wednesday, July 17 at 7:00 p.m..  Auditions will be held at 
Weathervane Playhouse, 1301 Weathervane Lane, Akron, In the Valley off 
Merriman Road.

Cast requirements:  5 MEN ages 17 - 65

Please prepare a 2-minute dramatic monologue that is not from the script.  
You will also be asked to do cold readings from the script.  Scripts will be 
available for perusal in the lobby.

Weathervane Playhouse is committed to non-traditional casting.  Except in 
cases where race, gender, age or disability is essential to the play, all 
roles will be cast on the basis of talent.  Weathervane Playhouse is a 
community theater.  All performers in all productions are volunteers.  For
