ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST opens tonight, Friday, July 5 at Porthouse 
Theatre.  Directed by Sue Ott Rowlands, ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST is the 
story of Randle P. McMurphey's journey through sanity and individuality.  "In 
a world where sanity means conformity and following the rules is the only way 
to survive, ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST is a powerful exploration of both 
the beauty and danger of being an original."

This amusing and touching drama stars the following Ohio actors; Sue Ott 
Rowlands (Director) Artistic Director and co-founder for the Cleveland Women=92s 
Theatre Project, Daniel Benko+ (Chronic/Technician/U/S Billy Bibbitt) Musical 
Theatre major at Baldwin-Wallace College, Tricia Bestic+ (Sandy) Mary Jane in 
last season's BIG RIVER, Damian Bowerman+ (Dr. Spivey) recently seen as 
Antonio in THE TEMPEST at the Actors's Theatre Company in Columbus, Donald 
Clark+ (Billy Bibbitt) graduate student at Ohio State University, Charles D. 
Martin, Jr. (Aide Turkle) recently moved from Tennesse where he was a student 
at Fisk University, Annie Fitzpatrick* (Nurse Ratched) company member of 
Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati, Michael Greyeyes* (Chief Bromden) local Native 
American film, television and stage actor, Kenderick Hardy+ (Aide Warren) a 
spoken word poet with a recently releassed album, APOLLO'S POETICS, Adam 
Hoffman+ (Anthony Martini) Director of Cain Park School for the Arts, Adam Day 
Howard+ (Chronic/Technician/U/S Martini) Kent State undergraduate theatre 
major, Nick Koesters (Frank Scanlon) Treemont resident and local actor, Nathan 
A. Lilly+ (Aide Williams) works in Audience Development at The Cleveland Play 
House, Jenni Lou Oakes+ (Candy) stand-up comic who has worked in comedy clubs 
around the country, Nathan Peters+ (Ruckly Understudy) music magor at Kent 
State University, Regina Rockensies+ (Nurse Flinn) recent graduate from Ohio 
State University with an MFA in Acting, Christopher J. Seiler+ (Ruckly/U/S 
Harding, McMurphy) last season's Silas Phelps in Big River, Michael Sherman+ 
(Chronic/Technician/U/S Scanlon, Warren, Williams) theatre major at 
Baldwin-Wallace College, Dudley Swetland* (Dale Harding) last season's show 
stopping Pap Finn in Big River, Rohn Thomas* (Charles Cheswick) the former 
Father Mark in TONY N' TINA'S WEDDING at the Hanna Theatre.  Also joining the 
cast from the DC area is Marty Lodge as RP McMurphy.

ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST runs July 5 - July 20 at Porthouse Theatre on 
the grounds of the Blossom Music Center.  Performances are Tuesday - Saturday 
at 8 PM and Sunday at 2 PM.  The Porthouse grounds open an hour and half 
before each performance for those who wish to picnic before the show.  To

Monday - Saturday from 12 PM - 6 PM in the Music & Speech Center on the main 
Kent State University campus.  The box office is open one hour before each
