Please prepare two short songs,
or a short song and a monologue.
Auditions are by appointment.

Callbacks will take place on August 5,
immediately following the auditions.
We will be considering both
AEA and non-AEA actors for these roles.

Rehearsal & Production Dates:
Rehearsals begin in mid-February, 2003.
The performances are March 28 -- April 20, 2003

All actors are paid for their participation in
Beck Center productions.
Based on a French film by Jean Poiret, La Cage Aux Folles tells the story of
Albin and Georges, two middle-aged homosexual lovers who run a transvestite
nightclub in St. Tropez. The plot revolves primarily around the complications
that develop when their son announces that he is getting married--to a woman!
And not only a woman, but the daughter of a local morals crusader!

Georges - Owner of 'La Cage aux Folles' night-club
Albin - Georges' lover and star performer at 'La Cage'
Jean-Michel - Georges' son
Anne - Jean-Michel's fiancee and daughter of Dindon
