"MAKING THE BAND II" 
**M-A-B EXCLUSIVE**

HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO MAKE THE BAND?
LOS ANGELES AUDITIONS TO TAKE PLACE AUGUST 2nd FOR EVERYONE!!! 

MTV will be conducting open auditions in Los Angeles as part of a national casting search to find talented and aspiring hip-hop artists for the next installment of MTV's popular reality series Making the Band II. Making the Band II will chronicle the formation of a mainstream hip hop/R&B group from auditions to rehearsals to live performances to competing for a record deal--all under the guidance of
the music mogul Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs. The half-hour show will run for 10 episodes on MTV and will premiere on Saturday, October 12 at 9:00 PM
(ET/PT). 

Applicants must be between 18 and 24 years of age (ID must be shown), and should bring a non-returnable photo with them to the audition. Applicants must be a US citizen, permanent resident or otherwise legally able to work in the US (proof required). Contestants may bring original music for their audition; however, many popular songs will also be available for accompaniment. A copy of the official contest rules and additional information may be obtained by calling Bunim/Murray Productions.
