Stagecrafters' 
The Cabaret Troupe
announces auditions for it's 2002/2003 season.

                When:   Thursday August 29th at 4:45 p.m.
                Where:  Orange High School auditorium
                               (32000 Chagrin Blvd. in Pepper Pike)
                What:    The Cabaret Troupe, a program of the Orange Communi
ty Education and Recreation Dept.'s Stagecrafters Youth Theatre, offers 
unprecedented opportunities for Cleveland's most talented teens.  Cast 
members perform show-stopping selections from several well-known Broadway 
musicals.  The Cabaret Troupe has performed Off Broadway, at The White House, 
Disney World, Jacob's Field and many other exciting venues.  

     All 9th through 12th graders are eligible to audition.  We are looking 
for strong singers and dancers.  Rehearsals are every Sunday afternoon and 
the first Tuesday night of each month.  This season's performance dates have 
not been confirmed yet, but will be posted at the auditions.  

     Please prepare one song and bring in the accompanying sheet music.  An 
accompanist will be provided.  A dance combination will be taught at the 
audition, so please dress accordingly.

questions.  We hope to see you there!

Technical Production Assistant The Cleveland Play House is seeking an 
enthusiastic and motivated individual with good communication skills to 
assist in the purchasing of supplies for its production departments.  Other 
duties include but are not limited to providing technical support for a 
three show children's season and act as production liaison for outside 
rental events.  Applicant must possess basic theatrical building skills, 
valid driver's license with clean driving record and be able to lift and 
carry 50 or more pounds.  Job starts August 19, 2002.  Address all

Subject: [NEohioPAL]Resident Sound Designer Position at The Cleveland Play House

RESIDENT SOUND DESIGNER/DEPT. HEAD: We are seeking a candidate to manage 
this three-person department.  This person would coordinate engineering for 
and implementation of designs for outside designers for the first mainstage 
productions of our 2002-2003 season.   The remaining eight mainstage and 
four children's theatre productions will be designed by the resident and/or 
their staff.  Additional responsibilities include setup and operation of 
sound systems, equipment maintenance/repair, as well as technician 
supervision, bookkeeping, budgeting and inventory.  Minimum of three years 
professional experience in live recording and mixing theatrical sound, 
including musicals.   Good communication skills with designers, directors 
and co-workers and an ability for creative problem-solving a must. Previous 
department head experience helpful.  Full time, 52-week contract with
