Synopsis of the Play
Closely following the original novel in form and spirit. The legendary Count
Dracula is first seen as a very old man. Throughout the play, he becomes
younger...and younger. At the end, Dracula is the epitome of the
attractiveness of Evil. Seductively he draws his victims into his arms;
mesmerized, trancelike, willing, and unafraid.
Dripping with realism and exploding with horrifying special effects,
audiences will be truly frightened by Bram Stoker's DRACULA. From his
arrival in England as a ravenous wolf to the bloody death of Lucy when a
stake is driven through her heart, audiences will sit spellbound and tingling
with fear. And the final confrontation between good and evil will have the
audience on the edge of their seats.
