2900 Community College Ave

Proudly Presents
The Premiere Production of Mark T. Leonard's
Directed by Tony Sias

CROSSROAD BLUES, THE LAST DAYS OF ROBERT JOHNSON

This is a gem of a play that presents an interpretation of the =
mysterious circumstances surrounding the murder of the famous bluesman, =
Robert Johnson, (recent inductee to the Rock Hall of Fame) in 1938 =
Mississippi, the result of his alleged "Crossroads Contract" with the =
devil. These nicely developed characters spin stories of their own and =
in their vulnerable, exposed positions come alive. There is a =
delightful flow to the structure of action; a simultaneous movement =
backward and forward in time, uncovering the past, and driving the play =
to its climax.

The Director is TONY SIAS, well-known local actor, director, educator =
and arts administrator, recently received the Northern Ohio Live 2002 =
Award of Achievement for his performance in The Jazz Poet on Broadway: =
Langston Hughes and 'Street Scene,' presented by Tri-C Jazz Fest.

Production Dates: 8pm - November 7, 8, 9, (14 sold out), 15, 16. 2pm - =
November 10 & 16
