The Cleveland Scene has fired me. They were re-writing my reviews to the=20
point where they were not recognizable.=A0 The reason for this was they=20
claimed, after 14 years, that my copy wasn't professional enough for their=20
standards. They knew that I am dyslexic and consequently my writing required=

a little more editing.=A0 Up to this point I thought my expertise was worth=20=
the=20
extra labor.=A0 When I tried to talk to them about it, the new Arts Editor N=
oel=20
Howey told me that my writing was not up to the paper's lofty standards.=A0=20=

told her it was okay to clarify and cut but please don't add your words and=20
change my style.=A0 She told me that she wasn't aware I had a style and then=
=20
she fired me.=A0 Obviously compassion is not part of the agenda of the new=20
'hip' journalism.=A0 If people who have enjoyed my reviews would like to=20
protest this they can go to the Scene's <A HREF=3D"http://www.clevescene.com=
/">Website</A> and get information there to=20
write a letter to the management.
