Johnny Wu has organized many functions throughout the year including the annual DP (Director of Photography) workshop, a full day workshop learning about techniques from various locally known DP's (Including Robert Banks, John Turk, Naomi Hollander, David Litz, Adam White, Greg Petusky and Jerry Mann).Mr. Wu has been part of several nonprofit organizations, supporting Independent Pictures (a.k.a. The Ohio Independent Film Festival). Mr.Wu helped organized their first fund-raising event this past summer, and also brought in the Visual FX Supervisor, Stephen Lebed, from the hit WB Show produced by Aaron Spelling, "Charmed" and many others.

In addition to his involvement in filmmaking and local community, he is the Sr. VP of Logistic and Corporate Secretary for Hollywood Charities Foundation, a nonprofit organization dealing with Hollywood celebrities and charities they are supporting. Mr. Wu has been commuting between Los Angeles and Cleveland for the past few years, and has worked and organized events with celebrities such as Alicia Keys, Will Smith, Kevin Bacon, Uncle Kracker, Eve, and many others.

The Meeting is 7pm at MDI at 2044 Euclid Ave. Cleveland on Wednesday, January 22nd.
