present 

ONE WEEKEND FOR PEACE 
a two day celebration of art, performance, and resistance. 
February 16th and 17th

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 16th: A SHOW OF PEACE 
At Church of the Covenant, 11205 Euclid Avenue, off  University Circle from 
2pm- 8pm.                               

Featuring music, dance, theater, and spoken word from favorite local 
performers including: Vernacular, Joe Jencks, Members of the Cleveland 
Orchestra, Groundworks Dance Theater, Sabatino Verlezza and Dancers, Cabaret 
Dada,  Mary Weems, Rafeeq Washington, Scott Plate, Cathy Albers, Sandra 
Perlman,  Megan Elks, artists from Cleveland Public Theater, and a seriously 
hot JAZZ BAND. 

PLUS....additional arts activities for Kids and Families from 2-4 pm, 
including: 
Mural making with Deb Wuliger, Beading with Leatrice Tolls, Dance and stilt 
walking 
with Capouira and The Samba School, Music with Ron Bishop, Drumming with John 
Spizzillo, Storytelling with Dagmar Celeste, and Peace Crane making with Tim 
Smith! 

This event is FREE and open to all! 

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 17th: A SHOW OF UNITY  
Join us as artists demonstrate for peace throughout Greater Cleveland.

ONE WEEKEND FOR PEACE is part of an International Weekend of Artists 
Resistance. Artists all over the world will be participating in concerts and 
performance events that say NO to a war on Iraq, and YES to Peace.
