        The Cleveland Black Box Theater’s Staged Reading Program will hold a brief organizational meeting on Wednesday  January 22nd 2003. The meeting will be held at Cabaret Dada Improvisational Theater 1210 W. 6th  Street at 7:00 PM and is for actors and playwrights alike.

       The Staged Reading Program is being developed to give playwrights an opportunity to have their works read aloud in front of an audience and to help establish or enhance relationships between all members of the Cleveland theatrical community. The Cleveland Black Box Theater was created with the hopes of giving local artists a chance to produce their works and hone their craft.

The goals of this meeting will be as follows:

1)  To increase awareness of TCBBT and it’s availability as a venue

2) Playwrights will have an opportunity to give a quick overview of their plays

3) Actors and playwrights will be matched together.

4) A schedule will be set for readings

Playwrights are requested to bring an appropriate number of copies of their work.
