NightTown’s 2nd Annual Founders Day Benefit Dinner on Wednesday, February
5th will honor Dobama Theatre this year. A ten-dollar admission allows
guests to purchase dinner at NightTown at 1965 prices. For example, a Prime
Aged Tenderloin is just $5.50 and Alaskan King Crab Legs and a Sirloin will
only cost $5.00. A piece of cheesecake is only 60 cents and a cup of coffee
25 cents. The event is open to the public. Seatings are at 6:00 p.m. and
8:30 p.m.

The restaurant, known for its “Dublin Lawyer” dish, is located at 12387
Cedar Road at the top of Cedar Hill in Cleveland Heights. Parking is
available in a lot just West of the restaurant on Cedar. For reservations
for either the 6:00 p.m. or 8:30 p.m. seating must be made with a credit
card by calling NightTown at (216) 795-0550.

Honoree Dobama Theatre is also of Cleveland Heights. Intimate, edgy,
sometimes heart-filled, Dobama Theatre is a small professional theatre
dedicated to premiering outstanding plays written by today's established and
emerging playwrights. Dobama Theatre’s Artistic Director Joyce Casey said,
“Dobama is honored to be this year’s honoree. NightTown has gone the extra
mile to give back to the local community and it’s just wonderful.”

Dobama Theatre is currently presenting The Tale of the Allergist's Wife by
Charles Busch, directed by Fred Sternfeld. The play will run from January
17-February 9 with a possible extension. Dobama’s production of The Tale of
the Allergist’s Wife was called “as full of laughs as Zabar's is full of
lox” by Tony Brown of the Plain Dealer.
