Business Fundamentals for Artists workshop

Artists are an integral part of Northeast Ohio's fabric of life.  In
order for artists to create a sustainable living and thus contribute to
the region's economic and social growth, their business practice skills
must be strong. =20

With this in mind, The Community Partnership for Arts and Culture (The
Partnership), Cuyahoga Community College Center for Arts and Culture and
the Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE) have teamed up to present a
workshop series, The Artist as Entrepreneur Institute (AEI),
specifically designed to provide fundamentals to help artists approach
art as a business.

Regional experts will present topics such as organizational structures,
legal and accounting basics and marketing your business.  The series
will be offered with a sensitivity to the individual artist's desire to
focus on creativity while supported by a sound business structure.=20
