Hello, everyone, and happy new year!

Following a brief holiday hiatus, it's time for your weekly digest of news 
and events from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music at Oberlin College.

Public Radio International's popular radio program, From the Top, tapes a 
live broadcast from Finney Chapel on Tuesday, January 28, at 8 p.m. Hosted 
by internationally-renowned pianist Christopher O'Riley, and featuring 
special guest Bobby McFerrin, the program will also showcase members of The 
Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra. The program airs on WCLV, 104.9 FM, 
Sundays at 6 p.m. with an encore Saturdays at 9 p.m. From the Top at 
Oberlin is scheduled to air April 13 anad 19, 2003. To order tickets for 
the live taping, please call 440.775-8169.

The Oberlin Conservatory of Music congratulates The Atlanta Symphony 
Orchestra and its music director, alumnus and faculty member Robert Spano, 
on three Grammy Award nominations for Vaughan Williams: A Sea Symphony.
