Cassidy Theatre's Downunder Cafe

announces Auditions for

Veronica's 
Room

Directed by Lenne Snively

This thriller, by Ira Levin, (you 
remember Rosemary's Baby don't you?), is a totally absorbing spider's web 
entwining fantasy and reality.  A young woman is persuaded to impersonate a 
long dead look-alike named Veronica...or is she really Veronica 
all along?!?  A real surprise ending to this 
spooky thriller.

Susan...20s, early 30s, an innocent...(how 
innocent is Veronica?)

Larry...20s, early 30s, Susan's boyfriend...(is 
it really love?)

Mrs. Mackey...50s-60s, servant to Veronica's family...(who hired this 
woman?)

Mr. Mackey...50s-60s, servant to Veronica's family...(who are 
Veronica's parents 
anyway?)

Your chronological age isn't important.  You 
don't have to BE the right age; we're looking for people who can PLAY the right 
age.

Tuesday, January 28

at 7:00pm

Production Dates: 

March 28-April 13, 2003

Rehearsals will start near the end of 
February.

A real "actor's" show...this script gives all 
four people a chance to develop a multi-dimensional character with quirks, 
surprises and maybe their own hidden agenda.  Every role makes a major 
impact on the story.  This is going to be a fun show to dig 
into.
