Actors' Summit Theater

"All Night Strut"
Production dates are April 10-27th!
( a mainstage production)
and
"Androcles and the Lion"
(a Children's Show)
The All Night Strut is a musical review of the hottest vocal music from the
20's thru the late 40's. It needs 2 couples who can sing and dance. It has a
bluesy/swing/dance feel.
All performers MUST be able to dance WELL. We are accepting headshots and
resumes only.
NO PHONE CALLS. Invitational auditions will be scheduled.
Actors' Summit Theater is an Equity SPT/III theater. This production opens
April 10th and plays thru April 27th, with a potential 1 week extention.
Performances are Thurs, Fri and Sat nights, and Sunday matinees. Rehearsals
will begin March 24th.
All roles are paid.
A total of 2 Equity contracts will be offered. All performers need to be
Ohio residents. There are no contracts for "out of town" performers.
African American Male --
28-35 age range, strong tenor- baritone. MUST be able to dance.
African American Female,
28-35 age range, strong alto with a belt. Must be able to dance.
Male -( any ethnicity)
35-55 age range, --base, Must be able to dance!
Female (any ethnicity)
35-55 age range, soprano, Must be able to dance.
Musicians have been hired for this show.
Androcles and the Lion
Children's show, based on the Aesop's Fable
done in the "Comedia del arte" style
Performances are
Feb 13-22,
Thurs, Fri and Sat mornings are 10 AM AND Sat at 1PM
These are Daytime, school performances at our theater,
NO "touring performances"
No Equity Contracts are available for the Children's show.
All roles are paid.
Rehearsals will start on Sat. Feb. 1st 10 AM
Pantalone- Adult male
Isabella- Young Lovely girl
Lelio- the boy-has been cast
Captain--the not very bright soldier
Androcles- Story teller / Servant
Lion/Prologue
With the exception of Lelio and Isabella all parts
can be played by a man or woman.
