is seeking a Captain von Trapp for their April 24th -May 2nd production

If you are not familiar with the stage show of this classic, Captain
Georg does a bit more singing than in the movie....
=20
In fact, he has a trio with the Baroness and Max, various "Edelweiss's"
and "Sound of Music's", other classics
and a neat duet with Maria, "Ordinary Couple" that replaces the more
cinema-suited "Something Good". =20
The part is more tailored to a singer than the movie version, but is, of
course, the pivot for the whole plot.

Our Captain Georg von Trapp is a tough-but tender father and widower,
somewhere around 30-40 in this production,=20
with a wide singing range, and the acting range to go from commanding to
bewildered, and from romantic to determined.
=20
If you are tall male, between 25-50 years old, with a good singing voice
and good acting chops,=20
