GAMBLERS ABOUND AT KSU=92S SCHOOL OF THEATRE & DANCE
KSU=92s School of Theatre & Dance hosts CASINO NIGHT in conjunction with "Guys & 
Dolls"


=09Kent, Ohio =96Kent State University=92s School of Theatre & Dance presents a 
special evening of gambling and lounge acts on March 1 for CASINO NIGHT.  
CASINO NIGHT includes gambling with fun money before and after a production of 
"Guys & Dolls." At the end of the evening cash in your fun money for raffle 
tickets and a chance to win great prizes like a blimp ride, theatre tickets, 
artwork and much more.  After the show you may even see Sky Masterson and 
Nathan Detroit at some of the gaming tables.  Entertainment at the casino 
includes Vegas-style lounge acts from the School of Theatre & Dance students, 
staff and faculty.  Special appearances include; Dr. John Crawford (Director 
of the School of Theatre & Dance) on the piano and possibly a song or two from 
Terri Kent, Director of "Guys & Dolls" and Artistic Director of Porthouse 
Theatre.  Tickets for CASINO NIGHT include hearty hors d=92oeuvre, beverages, a 
ticket to "Guys & Dolls," your name engraved on the William H. Zucchero 
Memorial Plaque to be displayed in the School of Theatre & Dance, Fun Money 
and Raffle Tickets.  Proceeds from the CASINO NIGHT will benefit the William 
H. Zucchero Memorial Guest Artist Series Endowment.  This endowment is being 
created in order to bring guest artists in to work with the students.  Tickets 
range from $75 - $200 for the evening.  For more information or to RSVP for

Join Salvation Army members as they try to cure the sins of a 1940=92s Times 
Square inhabited by gamblers and nightclub performers.  Set to wonderful 
Loesser music, Guys & Dolls runs February 21 =96 March 2, 2003.  Directed by 
Terri Kent, this exciting musical will be in the E. Turner Stump Theatre of 
the Music & Speech Building on the main Kent State University campus.  
Performances are Tuesdays =96 Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 2:30 PM.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for Seniors, KSU Alumni and KSU Faculty/Staff 
and $7 for students with any valid school ID or under 18.  Groups of ten or 
more can receive discounted tickets by calling 330-672-2497.  Box-office hours 
are 12 PM =96 5 PM, Mondays =96 Fridays, Saturday during the run of the show from 
3 PM =96 7 PM and one hour before performance times.  Tickets for Guys & Dolls 
can be purchased by calling 330-672-2497.  CASINO NIGHT tickets can be 
purchased by calling 330-672-0103.  The box office accepts Visa, MasterCard, 
and Discover.  Tickets purchased by phone must be held with a credit card.
