We are seeking eight performers to create a new musical based upon
Moliere's "Tartuffe", through improvisation and collaborative scripting.
While Tartuffe himself remains a hypocritical outsider, the setting will
move to the Cleveland musical scene of the 1980s. Skills at improvising,
writing, singing, and playing musical instruments are a plus, but not
required.
Auditions will be held from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Sunday March 23rd, in
room 850 of the Hannah Building, in Playhouse Square. Keyboard and
acoustic guitar will be provided. Callbacks will be Wednesday March the
25th if necessary.
We are looking for performers who can commit to two evenings a week for
six weeks, followed by two weeks of
intense preparation for a workshop performance.
