Several Special Events Scheduled Surrounding Performances of In the Blood by
Suzan-Lori Parks

Directed by Sonya Robbins
March 7 - 30, 2003

Dobama Theatre will be presenting several special events surrounding the
Ohio premiere production of Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Suzan-Lori
Parks' In The Blood. A modern day riff on The Scarlet Letter, In The Blood
tells the story of a homeless woman and her children living on the streets.
In compelling and stylized dramatic form, we enter a world where passions
are raw, need is profound, success is elusive and adaptation is necessary.

As In the Blood grapples with many issues in our contemporary world, Dobama
Theatre intends to engage its audience with several special events
surrounding the play.
