Garfield Hts Little Theatre will be holding auditions for it's May 2003 p=
resentation of Four One Act Plays.
Auditions will be held Sunday March 9th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Monda=
y March 10th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at 5640 Briarcliff Drive, Garfield H=
ts. OH 44125. (the Nike Site). For further information call 216-441-7027.
Shows to be produced are: "Graceland": two women waiting in line for the =
public grand opening of Elvis Presley's Graceland, =20
each one thinking that she is going=
to be the first one admitted to the mansion. =20
Needed are one woman, late 40's to =
early 50's, and one woman mid 20's
"Thanks": a dysfunctional family's =
Thanksgiving dinner
Needed are 3 men: mid 20's to 40's,=
2 women - the same ages, and one woman slightly older to =20
play the mother.
"Never the Time": Jay, a has been m=
usician, is now the piano man at the Flamingo Lounge. =20
Sue, the proprietor, recognizes hi=
s talent. Ex-band member, Jenny, has hit the big time and is =20
in town for a record promo with he=
r agent, Rob. An interesting visit transpires.
Needed: Jay- early 30's to early 4=
0's, Sue-mid to late 30's to early 40's, Jenny- late
20's to early 30's. Rob-30ish. Ple=
ase note those interested the role of Jay should be able to =20
play the piano. Jenny must be able=
to sing. Accapella or cd/tape is suitable for auditions as =
there will be no accompanist provided. =20
"The Ugly Duckling": Prince Simon =
is to marry Princess Camilla. Her parents are overjoyed =20
as she is rather plain. Dulcibella=
, the beautiful maid, will impersonate Camilla until the =20
wedding. Simon considers himself p=
lain so he has his handsome man servant,
Carlo, pretend to be him. By chan=
ce, Simon and Camilla meet and fall in love and live happily =20
ever after. =20
