On Applause this week, airing Thursday, February 27 at 7:30 p.m. on =
WVIZ/PBS, host Dee Perry...

			*	continues the second part of her conversation with Cleveland =
Orchestra's Music Director - Franz Welser M=F6st.  Last week, the =
Austrian conductor talked about the relationship he shares with his =
audience, and about some of his favorite conductors.  This week, Welser =
M=F6st discusses music education and his relationship with students at =
the Cleveland Institute of Music.


			*	interviews Dr. Valerie Capers, a jazz pianist and the first blind =
African American to graduate from the Juilliard School of Music.  =
Brought to Cleveland by ideastream's educational services department, =
Dr. Capers has been interacting with students from all across Northeast =
Ohio this week to share her keen insight and musical talents with =
students, educators and aspiring musicians.

			*	talks with Mia Klinger Welch.  Welch is the Artistic Director for =
the Cuyahoga Valley Youth Ballet.  The Ballet has been performing =
original works for over 25 years.  The dance company consists of 37 =
classically trained male and female dancers, ranging from 8-18 years =
old.  One of the ballet's main goals is to educate young audiences =
through original ballets and modern dance aimed at, and performed by, =
children.

The Cleveland Play House has an IMMEDIATE opening for run crew for their 
production of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Job Posting is below.

Run Crew: Pay $8.50/hour, with time and a half after forty (40) hours. 
 Must be available for day and evening hours. Experience with basic stage 
operations and terms necessary.  Flying and prop running experience 
desired, but will train.  This is a great way to break into professional 
theatre and make contacts while learning how LORT theatres work.  May lead 
to future seasonal positions. Multiple show contracts available for the 
following periods:			

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, ASAP through April 6, 2003, 1 member
