comedy

The Two Gentlemen of Verona - Final Dress

An outrageous take on the Shakespeare classic, finds the worlds worst
amateur theater group, The Bard Drama League of Greater Oxnard, staging
their final dress rehearsal before opening night.  From the outset of the
play, this misfit group of actors encounter the typical and not so typical
situations commonly associated with community theatre productions.  Yet, the
troupe somehow manages to wonderfully create Shakespeare's beautiful story
of love, deception and forgiveness.  Directed and conceived by Vincent
DePaul.

Featuring Mark Mayo, Geoffrey Peake, Jenn Wiszt, Renita Jablonski, Abdullah
Abdul-Jami, Jeff Womack, Rob Daniels, Nya Stevens, Richard Jackson, Anthony
Grande, Derrick Cook, Michael Brown, Harold Raines, Brian Kozina, Linda
Wade, Joe Jindra and David Sampson.

The Production opens on Thursday, March 20 at 8pm and runs until Sunday,
March 30.  (dark Monday, Tuesday Wednesday)
