Lakeland Theatre announces 

FINAL AUDITIONS

For

Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's

INTO THE WOODS

Audition Information: Saturday March 8, 2003, 12Noon-2:00PM. No appointments necessary. Be prepared to sing a song from Stephen Sondheim's cannon. Pianist provided. Readings from script will follow. Callbacks if necessary. All roles available except the Baker (Paul Floriano), the Witch (Mary Ann Nagel), Red Riding Hood and Jack's mother. Sorry, no more Equity Contracts available. Saturday's will be held in the Performing Arts Center. Take I 90 East (to Erie). Get off at Rt. #306. Turn right (south) on Rt306 and turn left at first traffic light (into Lakeland College). Park in Faculty/Staff Parking lot (turn right at stopsign; right at nex t stopsign;left into parking lot). Performing Arts Center (Building "D") is just beyond the large Clocktower. Program Information: Rehearsals begin on June 15, 2003. Rehearsals six days a week (only when you are needed). No rehearsals on July 3, 4 or 5, 2003! INTO THE WOODS opens on July 18 and runs three weeks (12 performances). Actors are compensated based upon number of performances. Only those over 18 can be compensated. Please check schedules regarding rehearsals. 

Lakeland Theatre (producing under the auspices of Lakeland Community College) has produced plays such as Death of a Salesman, Long Day's Journey into Night, All My Sons, The Imaginary Invalid, Arsenic and Old Lace, Company, A Little Night Music, Sylvia, She Loves Me, Plaza Suite, Brighton Beach Memoires, I Do! I Do! and Bed and Sofa featuring many local actors, directors and designers such as Mitchell Fields, Mary Ann Nagel, Gregory Violand, Doug Rossi, Curtis Proctor, Chris Carpenter, Andrew Narten, Alison Hernan, Pat Carroll, Pandora Robertson, Beth O. Cubbison, Tina Stump, Rebecca Schaberg, Nicolle Saccone, James Klein, Brian Fox, Tim Coles, Mary Jane Nottage, Joel Nunley, David Robeano, Curt Arnold, Jack Horigan, Beth Wood, Susan McGarry and John Galbraith among many others. Lakeland Theatre is dedicated to professional quality theatre that focuses on not only the product but how you get there.

Staff: Director: Martin Friedman. Musical Director: David Williams. Settings/Lights: Keith Nagy. Choreography: Gustavo Urdaneta. Costume Design: Melanie Guzman. Featuring: Mary Ann Nagel (as the Witch). Paul Floriano (as the Baker).
