Indie Cleveland, "a grassroots organization for local filmmakers," is accepting students for its Production Workshop. The registration ends March 28, 2003. The Indie Cleveland Production Workshop (ICPW) cost $150 if you register on-line at http://www.indiecleveland.com and $160 if you send in a check.

The six-week program is designed to give a "baptism by fire" into the art and techniques of creating and being involved in independent movies and television. The ICPW will be unique because it is taught by award winning professionals in Cleveland who are making movies. The Workshop will take place at Libraries and film studios. The Workshop will begin March 31 and be giving from 6:15pm to 8:15pm Monday through Wednesday.

The ICPW was mentioned in the Friday Arts Section of the Plain Dealer. A copy of the article is at http://www.indiecleveland.com
Or go to

and do a search for Indie Cleveland. It is part of the article "The City Club See Cleveland in the Movies."

While the ICPW has a price, Indie Cleveland is free to join and offers a Yahoo! group where members can network on-line, post headshots, production photos, web links, bios and info on themselves and their productions. Indie Cleveland is open to all who wish to foster the Cleveland movie community. IC has over 100 members.
