CLEVELAND PUBLIC THEATRE

HOLDS AUDITIONS FOR NEW POLITICAL MUSICAL SATIRE: DISCORDIA

April 5-8, 2003

Cleveland Public Theatre  will hold open auditions for Discordia, a new
political musical satire written by James Levin & Linda Eisenstein and
directed by CPT Resident Director Raymond Bobgan to be performed during its
2003-04 season.

Seeking men and women of all types over the age of 18. The audition will
consist of a 45-minute group work session with the director followed by the
performance of individual songs and prepared monologues. Auditioners should
prepare one contemporary monologue and one contemporary song and be dressed
to move. Live accompanist will be provided.

Audition dates begin on Saturday, April 5, 2003 with two sessions of 20 each
at 11:00am and 2:00pm. Sessions will last approximately two hours and
auditioners should be present the whole time.

A second session of 20 auditioners will be held on Monday, April 7, 2003
from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Callbacks will be on Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at 7:00pm.
The show will run from October 17 - November 8, 2003.
