<DIV>           I don't know how this might affect us, but I felt like you should all hear about it just in case.  Hate to bring politics in here, but this is a law being proposed which would hold organizers of events involving music personally liable for drug use at their venue.  It's a major crackdown on raves (an expansion of current "crackhouse" laws) and clubs, but it's wording is vague enough it could extend to concerts and god knows what that we might be involved in.  Thought you all should know. <EM> </EM>It's called the RAVE Act.  More or less what it means is that weird pressures can be put on venue owners to keep them from holding events out of fear that if someone uses drugs at the event, the venue owner or organizer could face up to 20 years in prison.  This link tells some about it but I'm sure if you wanted you could find more.  I hope your jaw drops.</DIV>
