The ill-fated story of a celebrated and homely poet, swordsman, and
scientist secretly in love with the beautiful Roxane, deals with the
consequences of hiding one's true self.   Written by Edmund Rostand,
this production is translated and adapted for the stage by Anthony
Burgess
