Many linguistic philosophers, anthropologists, and historians =
believe that mankind's ability to speak was developed first for the need =
to communicate such ideas as hunger, danger, fear... But there were =
already ways to communicate all these things without the need to use =
words. Humans can see and sense danger. They can communicate hunger at =
infancy with a simple cry. For then what use are words? The first words =
that were uttered by mankind were not to communicate real thoughts at =
all. The first words were to communicate a lie.

Lions Lost in Translation (by Erik Ramsey),The most brilliant work =
of this theater season, is being presented as part of Test Market's SEAT =
project. Lions Lost in Translation will, intellectually speaking, "rock =
your world". It's easily the most brilliant, original, new work to =
surface in Modern American Theater. A script is translated from English =
to a foreign language then back into English. With the dialogue out of =
context we follow an English professor as he loses his mind because he =
believes that he is becoming a metaphor of himself. The limited =
engagement will run April 3rd, 4th, and 5th @ The Arts Factory (101 E =
Charleston Ave.) 8:00pm curtain time. Tickets and information are =
available through Test Market ticket outlets =
(www.testlasvegas.artshost.com or 702-262-0858). As always we highly =
recommend that you arrive early (Doors open at 7:30pm).=20
