Mr. Ellison will return to the Geauga Theater at 7:00pm that evening to
provide narration for a script-in-hand reading of

“THE DEALER”

A locally written play about a futuristic world where art and literature are
illegal

Middle School through College aged students are especially encouraged to
participate in this free event.  There are many restaurants located on
Chardon Square, as there will be a break for dinner at 5:45 until 7:00pm.
Mr. Ellison has been referred to by the Washington Post Book World as “One
of the great living American short story writers.”  He has written or edited
over 75 books; 1,700 stories, essays, articles, and newspaper articles; two
dozen teleplays; and a dozen movies.  His awards are impressive and many,
and he is hailed as one of the great futurist in the literary world.  This
is a wonderful opportunity for young people to have an opportunity to meet
one of the great authors of our time.  There will be no book signings.
Reservations must be made, as seating is limited.
