For the past three years V-Day Akron has raised close to $50,000 for =
several local Rape Crisis programs and V-Day spotlight initiatives with =
a local performance of Eve Ensler's play The Vagina Monologues.  Over 20 =
V-Day events occurred in Northeast Ohio this past February.

Are you aware that the National Tour of The Vagina Monologues also =
contributes to the V-Day effort to end violence against women and girls =
on a national and international level?  While not 100% of the Tour =
proceeds go to the V-Day effort, as is the case with the February V-Day =
productions, a significant portion does.

The National Tour of The Vagina Monologues is coming to The Akron Civic =
Theatre May 6-11.    Many people were unable to attend a local V-Day =
performance.  Now is a chance to see this funny and provocative play as =
well as further the mission of V-Day on the global stage.
