Bread and Puppet is doing a show in Oberlin on Friday night, April 11, 2003. 
They are performing “Insurrection Mass With Funeral March For A Bad Idea”, a 
non-religious service with paper mache gods.

This is the real thing folks, the people who started the giant pageant 
puppet movement back in the 60’s. The show is FREE but you’ll have to sit on 
the floor so bring a cushion.

The performance is in Hales Gymnasium in Oberlin at 8:30 P.M. Hales is on 
State Route 511 right next to Allen Hospital.

FROM CLEVELAND
If you take 90 west (it becomes Route 2 in Elyria, just stay off the 
turnpike) you can get off at Rt 58 take a left (south) on 58 and eventually 
it comes into Oberlin (it becomes a 2 lane country rd. so don't freak).  58 
crosses 511 in Oberlin (we call 511, Lorain St.). Take a right (west) on 511 
and Hales Gym is  2 long blocks down.

OR take 71 south to 480 west. Stay on 480 till it becomes Route 10 (again 
stay off the turn pike) and just follow 10 to the Oberlin exit. You exit 
directly on to 511 (Lorain St.) just keep going straight into Oberlin and on 
to Hales Gym.
