FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Brunswick Alumni Community Theatre will hold auditions for the Toni Award 
winning musical 1776 on Monday, April 14, and Wednesday, April 16, from 7 to 
9 p.m. Auditions will be by appointment only.  To schedule an appointment, 
call 330-725-6443 between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m.
The show will be produced of Friday and Saturday, July 11 and 12, 2003, on 
the stage of Brunswick's new performing arts center at 3581 Center Rd. in 
Brunswick.
Rehearsals will be scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings, 
with occasional rehearsals on Tuesdays.
Needed for the cast are 25 men and 2 women who can play parts from age 17 to 
over 60.  Auditionees should be prepared to do cold readings from the script 
and to sing a number of their choice which they believe demonstrates their 
range and ability.  They should also provide music for our accompanist.
