After a series of concerts that have spanned the length and breadth of the United States, HARMONIA returns to Cleveland for two concerts on Saturday, May 10th at 8:00 PM and Sunday, May 11th.at 3:00 PM in the Cleveland Public Theatre’s Gordon Square Theater.  The Saturday May 10th concert will be followed by a reception with dancing.  Doors open 30 minutes before show time.  The Cleveland Public Theatre is located at 6409 Detroit Avenue in Cleveland, 5 minutes west of downtown.  Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students.  For tickets, call the Cleveland Public Theatre at 216-631-2727.  The theater is fully handicapped accessible and has plenty of free parking.

Harmonia's music is intense, driving, lyrical roots music from Eastern Europe, with a repertoire drawing on Gypsy, Hungarian, Romanian, Croatian, Ukrainian, Slovak and Carpatho-Rusyn traditions.  Performing with the ensemble are: Walt Mahovlich on accordion, Alexander Fedoriouk on cimbalom, Marko Dreher on violin, Andrei Pidkivka on folk flutes (sopilka, panflute, tilinca), Adam Good on string bass, and vocalist Beata Begeniova.
