SUMMER DANCE INTENSIVE

Have you missed too many dance classes due to conflicts with shows and 
rehearsals, and yet you realize how essential it is to get that dance 
training?  Have you had a hard (or impossible) time finding the right class 
because the other girls (or boys) are either too young, or too advanced?  If 
so, you're not alone. This summer dance intensive is designed especially for 
teens who perform in musical theatre, need intensive dance training, and are 
not experienced dancers. This summer program provides the opportunity to get 
a strong foundation in ballet, tap, and jazz, in a comfortable, supportive, 
small class atmosphere. The program includes ballet three times a week (90 
minutes each), and a tap/jazz for 90 minutes three times a week.  Two 
excellent schools of dance are cooperating to create a time-efficient 
schedule with both breadth and depth of training for  beginning/intermediate 
teens. 

Location for all classes: Dance Enterprise 24000 Mercantile Road, Beachwood 
Ohio

Dates:  June 16 through July 25th

Ballet
Ballet Academy  (464-6681)
Mon, Wed, Friday    3:30-5:00
Tuition: $150.00
Attire: pink tights, leotard (any color), ballet shoes (pink preferable, 
black permitted if you already have them), ballet skirts allowed

Tap/Jazz     

Includes tap technique, routines, New York and L.A. jazz styles, theatre 
dance and hip hop.

Morgenstern Dance Studios (464-5959)
Mon, Wed, Friday 1:30-3:00
Tuition: $196.00
Attire:  Tap shoes, jazz shoes or light-weight sneakers, shorts and t-shirts 
or ballet attire
