[NEohioPAL]Auditions for Performance artists for Summer Downtown Arts Festival

Sparx in the City will hold auditions for unique street performers, 
"buskers", performance artists and street musicians for the upcoming Friday, June 20 
event - "Cleveland's on Fire" - a celebration of the painting of fire hydrants 
by local Ohio artists along the Euclid corridor.  This Festival will begin at 
Star Plaza at Playhouse Square and continue down Euclid Avenue to Public 
Square.  Performance artists will entertain between the hours of 11:00 am and 2:00 
pm, and in the evening from 4:30 pm till 9:00 pm.

Auditions will be held on Thursday, June 5 beginning at 11:00 am in the East 
Rehearsal Hall of the State Theatre at Playhouse Square, located at 1650 
Chester Avenue.  AUDITION SLOTS ARE LIMITED AND ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

Performance artists of all cultural backgrounds and ethnic groups are 
encouraged to audition.

Artists should come prepared with all props needed for their performance art.
